I've been coming here for over 25 years and it's still so consistent! The cakes are simple, not too sweet at all, and super nostalgic. Chocolate cake with strawberries is my fave.

This is a family-owned business we found by accident while in the area. They accept cash only. They have now become my favorite bakery because of the black forest cake that I have looking for pretty much ever since I left Thailand. If you have had black forest cake made properly, you will know what I mean. All of the other pastries were delicious and yes, the Asian stamp of approval-not too sweet. The pineapple moon cakes were delightful. I want to return to try their coffee cake as it is my dad's favorite cake and if it hits the mark, I will be ordering one for his birthday. They are definitely worth the drive and in reading up on their other reviews, we will have to return to try their signature mango cake. The owner who makes the pastries is very proud of his products and proudly described each pastry we picked up. His son is very helpful and friendly. I love supporting small businesses and will definitely be returning soon.

This review is for both the workers/owners generosity to allow us to come back and pay for the cake the following day. We were in bind and they were kind and trusting enough to allow us to come back the following day. The cake itself was good, light and fluffy.

They have really mastered the craft of what it means to produce asian sweet breads. With fear of being misunderstood, the common phrase "its not too sweet" may be the highest compliment you can give to dessert, but I do not want to overgeneralize what they have achieved here. There is a delicate balance of pillowy interior, sugar ratio, and filling. They are delivering the good and the special stuff. In this unassuming shopping plaza, you'll receive everything you want and more.
